The National Kidney Foundation Fundraising team record was shattered by Columbia State geography professor Aubrey Flagg and his team of Chargers on April 27. Flagg and the Chargers team surpassed its original goal of $17,000 and raised more than $21,000 in support of the National Kidney Foundation. Approximately 100 Columbia State students, friends and staff members showed up to walk despite the rainy weather, all with a cause, a close friend, confidant, family member and a single professor in mind – Aubrey Flagg.
